New York City is at its very best when it is the center of opportunity celebrating its diversity. My candidacy for Mayor is about the future of the City as a place where we can all live, work and raise our families in safety and prosperity; where our children can receive a substantive education allowing them to compete in the global marketplace; where our businesses, both large and small, can expand without the burden of intrusive government involvement so they can create jobs and be profitable; and where those New Yorkers in need receive the care and services and training needed to participate in society.
